I received my softbound copy of the new Julius vom Hofe book.

In a word - FANTASTIC! A great resource.

Great work to all associated with the project!

I wish I would have had this book 15 years ago! Beautiful pics of the diversity of JVH reels that make you appreciate how wrong many of us have been about the relative quality of his (their) reels. At least now when I forget who in that family fit where in the scheme of things, I have a beautiful book with all the factoids for reference....kudos to Don and Dr. Todd!

I agree. I haven't read it yet, but I skimmed theough many if the pictures and it is chock full of info. Beautiful book in the hardcover too. I was hesitant to buy it at that price but I'm glad I did! Thanks to all involved in making it happen

My copy of the book arrived today and it is great! I already had a copy of Don Champion's loose-page version but the additional information and picture gallery in this book make it well worth the money.
