Mohawk reel

[timg][/timg] [timg][/timg] Hi all. It has been awhile. I found an old reel marked MOHAWK made in USA patented and seat is marked 250. Your help is appreciated on information on this reel.

Tom, I thought the same thing until I realized he's talking about a salt water reel (250 yd.).

However, Bronson did make a "Mohawk" salt water trade reel, which can be seen on our Bronson website. Right under my nose the whole time.

Well dang, close but no cigar. Just goes to prove my blindness to the "conventional"..i.e..."backlash" :P .... side of this hobby. :lol:

Ocean City also made one similar to Bronson (sold by Sears)

That was the "MOWACO", which stood for Montgomery Ward & Co.
