Fenwick 50W leverdrag reel
Im having a hard time finding any mention of this reel anywhere online. Its a Fenwick Seahawk SHLD 50W lever drag. About the same size as a Penn 9/0. It has front and top mount harness lugs.
Trying to figure out where/when/how this reel came to exist

If it is like this one sold on Ebay it seems to be quite modern . Probably find out some info from local tackle shops.
Only info I saw in the ad was made in Taiwan.

Re: Fenwick 50W leverdrag reel
I think most of Fenwick's reels were made in Japan/Asia except for a couple of mid '80 years worth of "Word Class" fly/steelhead/salmon reels that were made in the US, and later Germany for a short time.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

I believe there are 2 Fenwick shld reels. The 15L, and the 50w. I think you will find that they are made by Okuma.

Thanks Stoney it sure looks and feels like an Okuma. So if it walks and quacks like a duck, it must be........an Okuma. LOL
