Gentlemen, I am not a mind reader nor am I Right99.
I welcome your input but I need for you to be positive about what you want me to put on the list. I am not the expert and cannot determine whose/what/which information to add. If there is a disagreement or correction to someones input, I will not add it until solved.
Help me help you.

Al

Fraser is a city in Macomb County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 14,480 at the 2010 census. The city is part of the Metro Detroit region. (The internet does not lie!!)

I'm curious, Al. Is American Classic Sales LLC, Salt Lake City, Utah considered too new a manufacturer?

In my opinion, if a person finds a Reel that has markings on it that would lead them on a search for American Classic Sales, then we should have it in our lists. They should be in "Reel Makers" and "By State" Even if they are not old now, they will be someday. We don't want a new Collector that wants information leaving O.R.C.A. to look elsewhere. Again, my opinion.

Tommy, I added them to both lists. Here is what I added to the Makers list.

American Classic Sales LLC of Salt Lake City, Utah manufactured a rugged, no frills anti-reverse fly reel. No detail of it's features are known by me. They went out of business in 2012 according to the Department of Corporations in Salt Lake City.

Al, they also manufactured and sold, in 1996 the Spotech Classic IV open face spinning reel, and in 1997 changed the reel's name to American Classic IV. Both the Sportec & American came in a Locked anti-reverse model (no switch button) and a standard selectable (with a button) model.

I have them all, including the paperwork that came with them. They are a copy of the ABU & Zebco Cardinal 4.

Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)
