Foreign reel info

Post by Ed Rods »

Does anyone know how to get information on foreign reels such as UK or Australia?
I am looking to identify some reels that I have. No markings
Thanks Ed

Hi, Ed...for UK reels, I would likely send you to Graham Turner's opus, "Fishing Tackle, the ultimate Collector's Guide...not cheap...and don't drop it on your foot, but does a nice job of detailing early UK reels and makers. He has a splash of American maker info as well. No dedication to Aussie makers, but maybe our DownUnder members can offer help there.
