Where are all the Shake Perfect & Intrinsic reels

Post by Reelman2 »

I have been trying to collect as many different sizes of Shakespeare Perfect German Silver reels as I can. They made them in 40 yd up to 150 yd and they made narrow spool ones as well. Yet, 90% of what is out there are 100 yd and a few 80 yd. What has happened to all the other sizes. In addition, I know that the intrinsic German Silver reels from the same time period were also made in various sizes. Yet, they are almost non-existing. I have only seen a handful of them.

As far as the Perfect reels are concerned, I currently have an 80 yd, 100 yd, 120 yd and 150 yd. Most of them have 1-7/8" pillars. I have a couple that have 1-5/8" pillars. I would love to find a 1-3/8" and a 1" pillar reel.

Let me know what you think.
Collect mostly Ky style reels; Meek, Heddon, Horton, Pflueger Redifor and Worth, etc.
