My good friend and collector steve scarborough has unexpectedly pass away this week. services are today. our prayers are with his wife and family. jim and linda sheek

I was sad to learn of this today. Steve and I have shared a common bond over casting weights for 20 years. He came to the ORCA national show last year in Gatlinburg. He was a regular at the NFLCC and CATC shows. He will be missed by all.

Sorry sorry to hear of his passing. I never got a chance to interact with Steve, but from all the accolades, it's clear that I missed out on a chance to learn from an expert.

This is quite a shock. I spoke to Steve Scarborough on July 21 during the course of routine member outreach. He recently retired but kept very busy. He told me a bit about his very interesting collection... all things related to casting tournaments. Sad news.

Steve was a really likeable guy. We had nice talks at NFLCC meetings. Just plain friendly. I will miss him.
