i have 2 of these reels identical in every way except one has a P between the screws on the foot,is there anything significant in regards to that, age,replaced foot ? really never noticed it before until today,

I just checked this Akron reel, and it has the P.
I can date it to 50s-62.
It has aftermarket OnePfoot ornaments, including latch cover, drag knob and ratchet plate (not shown).
