Reel prices generally seem very strong and are exceeding pre-sale estimates.

Unfortunately, I just can't seem to wake up at 0400hrs (HST) to bid. Missed out on a few lots of interest. Also, it is deer hunting opener in many northern states today.

Looks like a great auction today though.

Nice to see strong bidding on the reels.

Well, starting bids have very little meaning other than in a relative sense. Estimates are intentionally low so as not to scare off potential bidders. The good stuff almost always seems to search out its value range. More common reels usually take it in the shorts.
