Smith & Wall Reel

Post by spinner-g »

Hello All.
Here is my Smith & Wall Nottingham Reliance reel. Pattern number 16. 1/2 R.C. Circa 1910 I believe.
The reel is in very good original condition, it spins well and the ratchet is strong in both directions. It also has the original line guard fitted. It has not been over polished or re-varnished in any way.
I was wondering if anybody had an idea of value for this fine piece of history.
Many thanks.

I see you've gotten no takers on an estimate of value. I can't help there, but this is a beautiful reel in great shape!

Thank you very much Sid. Indeed it is in fine original condition. I have a fair few older reels.
