Reel question

Hi I am back from the east coast of canada with a reel I am looking for some info on As you can tell this reel is not in the best of shape but considering it was found at an abandoned dump sitw not so bad. The only marking is the one on its side any info would be much appreciated Thank Mark

At the risk of being way off, I am going to suggest that this is a cheap knock off of a brass fly reel made in some place called Tala (Egypt, Iran or some other place where brassworks and low cost labor still abound). That would explain why a nice looking reel is in a dump. What does the other side look like and under the foot and looking into the spool? Images of the full reel surfaces may reveal more clues.
