Dimensions on a Meiss featherlight 260 raised pillar

Post by Char_Mender »

Does anyone knows the specs? Cannot find anything online, and I want to possibly verify an unmarked reel in hand. Thank you

Phil White's "Meisselbach" book states the diameter is 2-1/4" with a 3/4" wide spool, in a bronze finish. The rarest of the Featherlights. The spool cutouts were circles. It would be marked "Blue Diamond Trout", so yours is likely not one of these.

Hi. I have a blue diamond, but the reel I speak of is just a smaller version of the 270 featherlight. the raised pillar style and not the stamped round ones like the tiny 250 or the blue.

The "other" Featherlight 260 raised pillar reel measures 1-3/4" x 3/4". Sorry about that. Consider posting some photos.
