I just clicked on this link and got the alarming message that this link was an attempt to redirect to the NYTimes with intent to steal data and financial information! What’s up with that??

alarming message
Have no idea. It's a link to an NYT science article, and it works ok for me.

Aloha,

You know, guys, that's the reason I don't open website links not even on ORCA, a website I have nothing but love and respect for.

Steve, my curiosity gets the better of me. I own a Pinnacle T2 spinning reel which, to my extremely limited knowledge, is the definitive, precision small reel. I was wondering if that reel was cited in the link John had a problem with? Additionally, if I may, does anyone know if there is another that is smaller and equally, or even superior, in design and engineering?

Thank you and Aloha,

Dr. E, I suspect your phone is a paranoid schizophrenic.
Gary, I'm sorry but the NYT article is about a different style of reel, to wit:

There's even a video.

Aloha,

Thanks for the response, guys; hey, these things happen. The Dawia 500c? Thank you, arley, I'll have a look at it.

"Mahalo nui loa" (Thank you very much) as we say here in Hawaii.

Is this basically a bit of porn for a reel collector who is also a microbiologist?
