The translation above "Stainless Steel" is "Sabinu Hagane" in characters that are used for foreign words spoken in Japanese. So if that sounds like something familiar in English?

The characters above the bird are "? memoka" The first character is something I can't translate but the last three are pretty simple. Don't know what it might mean but the reverse of that, "kamome", is "seagull" and of course that's the trademark.

Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?
