Dating Pflueger 1893 Akron with 4 pat.'s on tailplate

Post by bob121349 »

Hi- having trouble dating a pflueger akron 1893 with 4 pat. #'s: 1450738; 1579076; 1583764; and 1637437. I think it's maybe 1926 or 1927 but not sure. Has 5-screw face plate; no sculpturing ; straight foot with standard screws; white dual celluloid crank knobs; and with ( I think) wrong scarlet jeweled caps. All else, I believe is standard akron for that era. Need to nail down date if possible. Any help appreciated. Thanx. Bob

According to Bob's book, it was only made in 1929.
