Knowledge videos - antique British tackle

Post by Paul M »

I received an email and press release from an ORCA Facebook fan and friend who has a common interest in antique British fishing tackle.
Dear Paul,

I hope this finds you well and you have been enjoying a sporting and collecting summer.

I thought you might find this press release of interest for your ORCA members. Thomas Turner Fishing Antiques is producing an ongoing series of short educational videos about the world of vintage fishing tackle for collectors and those who may have inherited some tackle and are not sure of its value or what to do with it.

They are fronted by our new commercial director John Stephenson, formerly head of fishing at Mullock’s Auctions.

Please find the text and an image attached and I hope they will be of use. If we can help provide any more assistance or information please just ask.

With many thanks and best regards,

Paul Sharman

Rather then the press release, here is a link to the News page on their website: https://www.fishandfly.com/sharing-know ... -antiques/

I checked out one of the videos about old Farlow reels and learned something so thought Reel Talk users might be interested in taking a look here: https://www.thomasturner.com/video-library/
