Can you ID this neat brass fly reel?

This fixed click fly reel is 3 1/4" in diameter and about 1 1/8" across the pillars. It's engraved on the back with the name of a man who was a founder of the Montreal Golf Club (David D. Sidey). I know quite a bit about the man but can't figure out who made the reel. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!
