Skinny 2/0 Senator

Post by Cuttyhunker »

Just acquired a 2/0 that looks more like a baby Super Mariner than a Senator. The stand is a # 30 111, my other 2/0 is #30 112. The spool is #29 60 and the posts are 1 13/16". Everything else is standard 2/0. Have Mike C's Penn book on the way, just wondering if anyone is familiar with this narrow little Senator? Thanks

You have a 3/0 reel with a 2/0 headplate on it.

Do you have one reel with a 30-111 stand, 29-60 spool and 1-13/16" posts? And the other reel has a 30-112 stand, wider spool and longer posts? If that is the case, the one with the 30-111 stand is a 2/0, and the one with the 30-112 stand is a 3/0 with a 2/0 head-plate as Chris stated above. Your narrow spool 2/0 is correct, the wide spool is not.
