Newly Discovered Bronson Regular Production Model

Post by wrong99 »

For those of you into Bronson reels, I'd like to announce the recent discovery of previously unknown regular production model, the first new regular Bronson model found in many, many years. It's the 1936-1937 Bronson No.500 "Newaygo". It is identical to the mahogany-colored Bakelite 1934-1935 No.500 "New Deal", except black in color. It's assumed to have been produced from 1936-1937, as it appears in no other catalog and no catalogs from 1936 or 1937 are known to exist. Clearly marked as a regular production model, rather than a trade reel. It can be seen on our Bronson website. Robert Ellis would be over the moon!
