I contact you because I have just published an important article on ALCEDO reels that have the medal with the bird "Alcedo in flight"!
These particular and rare Alcedo models were requested and imported by Giuseppe Verrecchia, born in Italy and emigrated from young to Glasgow in Scotland. Only now I have succeeded, thanks to the precious collaboration of Riccardo, son of Giuseppe, to collect the news regarding this particular story!
I hope that what I have written may be interesting for the many collectors of the Alcedo brand in North America!
