Well, here's another plea for information! I would love to learn more about this obscure company, but I don't know where to start looking. It's been suggested that the Rassey was made after WWII by someone that was in the aircraft industry (due to the aluminum parts in the reel). I can't confirm or deny this. Every Rassey I have is marked "Pat.Pend" on the head or tail plate, so somewhere there should be a patent registered in the U.S. I can't find one. I have an original box for the reel, but it has no address for the maker. I am lost! If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them.
Of course I'm always looking for other examples of the Rassey. I have cash and quite a few traders available. Can we get together?
