Just follow Andrew's steps in the tutorial above and all should work out fine.

the workmanship & operation of these reels is second to none...on par with early Charlton fly reels or early DAM Quick spinning reels

sorry for the delay, but here they are: "1st ONE" is the first reel he made, according to the engraving on the side. "1st TWO" & 2nd TWO" was made for his wife Eve. This reel has two spools. Both are multipliers, with disc drags - absolute marvels of engineering, and superbly made.

Hope this works........These first three pictures are of the "Original" Diefenderfer fly reel. It is truly a masterpiece! Came with its own felt lined custom wood box.

May we see the insides so we can share the marvels? And BTW, I believe that the "H" of H.E. is a badly engraved "W."
