Theroe,
That member no longer exists. However, many of us would love to see photos of your reels.

the workmanship & operation of these reels is second to none...on par with early Charlton fly reels or early DAM Quick spinning reels
Comments from anyone will be appreciated!

Dana,
Check your messages (PMs) and also maybe your message notification settings on the User Control Panel "preferences"?

sorry for the delay, but here they are: "1st ONE" is the first reel he made, according to the engraving on the side. "1st TWO" & 2nd TWO" was made for his wife Eve. This reel has two spools. Both are multipliers, with disc drags - absolute marvels of engineering, and superbly made.

Hope this works........These first three pictures are of the "Original" Diefenderfer fly reel. It is truly a masterpiece! Came with its own felt lined custom wood box.

And here is the second one of his(at least that I have!), presumably made by him for his wife Eve.

Now that Ive made it past the picture posting hurdle, I will see about better quality photos!

Feedback welcome

marvels of engineering
May we see the insides so we can share the marvels? And BTW, I believe that the "H" of H.E. is a badly engraved "W."
