Joe's Old Lures Message Board
I've learned two things now. John Elder was telling me something about Joe's and I had no idea what he was talking about, then you referenced it and I looked and found it. Who said "Old dogs can't learn new tricks?"

It's kind of like Facebook to me I know kind of what it is but not really how to use it correctly. It was fun scrolling down through the messages and seeing all of the names I recognize from O.R.C.A. and N.F.L.C.C. I struggle with all of the modern day technology. I told Heitman he was better than a reel book. You and he together could be a best seller. (It might have to be X-rated)

Joe's board? Someone please explain. As far as the reel, I like this type, but I've never tried one out. (nor do I have one)

I'm sure someone can give you a better explanation than I, but the above website is one members of NFLCC and ORCA and other collectors use to exchange information. Check it out.

Oh goodness, it is a place to find more things for your collection/s...how about that!
My dad would of loved that board if he were still alive. He had a lot of old fishing stuff.
I just realized I have that place stored in my bookmarks. I thought it was a place that sold old reels.
I didn't realize they had a message board too. I wish I had hung on to more of my dad's old lures now. I got some and kept them for myself. I don't plan on selling them. I got several I wanted, and let my brother take the rest. My dad had more lures and rods and reels that anyone I know. Now that I am learning more about vintage reels, I should of looked them over harder. I like my reels to be in very good condition to mint. Now and then I have a good condition, but that is rare. My dad's tackle was all well worn. He bought some from the stores, and he bought a lot at garage sales. Anyway, thanks for that link.

Hey Robt. You don't have to make room for me on Joe's, I was only window shopping. It's too technical for me.

Wanna see a grown man cry Jon? Hey Ellis...ya know those "Bronson" reels that ya collect? A Bronson made Wards-Hawthorne 60-6316 in VERY nice condition, sold on Joe's the other day for $25. That's...the Brown version of the Invader 26 and... the rare one. Been nappin' agin' huh Robert?!

I wouldn't know how to buy or sell anything or post anything at Joe's. I have trouble with E-bay. Maybe in my next life I'll figure it out. Hey Rob't I feel bad for ya. L.O.L.
