Mike,
I don't have the faintest idea, but lightning rod collectors likely say the same thing about reels they see going for big money.

Everything is collectible. Or "They ain't makin' them lightnin' rods like that no more!"... or fishing reels either. Two or more people with money wanting the same object can result in strange happenings (we have discovered).
Wonder how much the copper in those rods is worth?
