Not bad, but I like Sundance's Voice version a little better.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

I'm fairly certain I would sell my soul to the Devil to be able to play the guitar like David Gilmour

In the Full Editor menu you will find a Video icon the for bbcode. Use that code to insert the link to the (YouTube) video. It works just like the URL bbcode.

[*video*][*/video*]

Ignore the *

(Video feature may not be working so just post the URL without the [*video*][*/video*] codes)

I knew it would happen LOL. It has to be one of the most famous soundtracks (and cartoon) of all time regardless of where you live in the world. Everybody (our age) probably knows all the words too!... and it’s still funny.

I like your pick, John. In my opinion Mark Knopfler is one of the best guitar players around.

There is some awesome guitar (all three players) in this extended version of "Sultans of Swing".

I cannot stop, however, without mentioning the Eagles. "Take it Easy" is one of my favorites.

In 2011, Rolling Stone published the self-described "definitive" list of 500 Greatest songs of all time. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/musi ... und-71184/ So, there you have it. If you cannot bear the suspense, no. 1 is Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone. (This link might get you to the top 50. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/musi ... e-2-54028/)

NPR has its own take on "The most important American musical works of the 20th century." https://www.npr.org/programs/specials/vote/100list.html A bit different take from RS.

From time to time i have also seen lists of a different sort -- ie, most recorded songs. The Beatles' Yesterday is always present, and often first, as in this example: http://mentalfloss.com/article/20811/mo ... ic-history. I have seen some lists I cannot find now that also include White Christmas and one or two religious songs or hymns. The song Summertime is a bit of a sleeper that always turns up on these lists; it has been a favorite of mine since my now adult son learned to play it on an alto sax in elementary school. I sometimes listen to my dozen or so recordings of it for an hour or so at a time. The sleeper recording of the sleeper song is by Janis Joplin.

I'm not sure about "best of all time", but it is the most investigated song ever recorded. A 'top ten with a bullet' at the FBI 1963 to @ 1965.

And, if you are at a wedding reception, and this is NOT played, leave immediately.

Mark is regarded as the best thumb-picking guitarist in the world. If you like Country, Rock, Celtic and Blue Grass music, you have to see him in person. It's not song & dance, or a fashion show, or the constant bs you get with today's pop entertainers, just some of the finest music you've ever heard. Born in 1948, I grew up through the 50's, 60's and 70's in San Francisco. I've heard it all and picking a best song is impossible. This is what makes me feel good now.
