Jon Kring’s wife Carol has passed away

Post by john elder »

Jon and Carol have been fighting the good fight for the past several years and she is finally at rest. I’m sure Jon would love to hear from his good ORCA friends at this difficult time.

Thanks for all of the kind words. Past few years have been difficult for both of us. I had to put her in a facility beginning the end of July. In addition to all of her medical issues in the past few weeks dementia was getting bad. We were married 52 years last Mon. Hard to loose a friend after that many years, but I have confidence there is no more pain and suffering and she is now united with friends and family who have gone on before and with The Lord. I haven't been very active with ORCA recently, making at least a couple of trips every day to the nursing home. Thanks again. Jon

Jon, you are in my thoughts tonight. I too lost my first wife and the mother of my children after many years of marriage. It will be a big adjustment and will take time, but your friends are here for you when you need support and encouragement.
I will pray for you Jon,
Bill Sonnett
I love to get old reels, work on them until they run as smooth as silk and the take them fishing using pre-1960 plugs, mostly surface fishing for Largemouths after dark.
