Good morning Bob, Dr. Todd, Steve and all:
During my sophomore year in high school my Latin teacher, Brother William...who had also been my Latin teacher the previous (freshman) year, noting that my ability to master this subject was less than acceptable, said in front of the entire class:
"Mr. Wiegner, you're just not getting this, are you? For the rest of the year, why don't you just sit there and vegetate?"
And through the years, Brother William's advice has served me well, with the possible exception of some rather strong difference of opinion concening perception of certain sports, and of course...politics.
May you all have a pleasant week.
Jim

Steve-In defense of the indefensible: "Being" inert would indeed suggest the inability to move, and implies the status of inanimate objects lying about. Whereas "acting" inert would imply a slothful, indifferent, unresponsive dolt (like a reel collector) lounging about doing nothing of meaningful consequence except perusing eBay for hours on end. Bad Bob
PS-Contact me about a neat reel I saw on eBay this morning!
