Bad Bob's "Thought for Sunday Morning"
Bad Bob's "Thought for Sunday Morning"
Just for those dedicated 6 or 8 ORCANs tuned in on Sunday (I know your names and where you live!), the assumption being that up to 10 more members out of 900 total may be in church with the majority of the others having some sort of hangover (or to quote a line from a Jimmy Buffett song "There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning"). Anyhow, heres the thought:
The most needless words spoken or written are those which invariably follow the words: "Needless to say..."
Only exceptions are these frequent natterings by Bad Bob!

Good morning (just barely) Bob:
OK, here's a thought you might consider. Without "Needless", where might our cherished hobby be...if some folks were not in a position of "Needing less old reels", then we would still probably "Want more old reels". But they would be a lot harder to find.
So maybe "Needless" is actually a good thing. Or maybe I should just do as my high school Latin teacher suggested 52 years ago...and sit here quietly and vegetate!
