We're set up for the show and the public is starting to come in , some with rods and reels in hand for appraisal. There are some great reel displays here, too. Bob Halver, the Airex expert, explains some of the dozens of variations to Don Buchbinder, left:
ORCA vice president Bill Muth brought two enough reels to fill two tables. Here's some of his finer reels for sale:
And Green Bay carver David Charles brought some amazing duck decoys and fish carvings:
Here's a pair of mallards flying back to Massachusetts this afternoon:
Len Sawisch and his interactive display on "The Mystery of the Marhoff Reel" won 1st place in the reel display competition. Congratulations, Len!
2011 ORCA convention: Len's a winner!

Walter, William, and Len
Great minds do indeed think alike! Well done Len.
And great thanks to Richard, John, Paul and all who brought in word and picture a glimpse of your adventure at Reel Summer Camp. For those of us souls here in purgatory (at home), you have provided us with a most enjoyable treat.
And as Rick stated so well, we were with you in spirit. Thanks again.

Great looking display there, Bob H.
I'm glad I'm not standing in front of Bill's table. That would be too much anxiety knowing I'd have to make a choice!
I'd probably go home with a duck decoy too...from a reel show!
congrats Len, you always put together great displays.
And like Rick and Jim W, thanks for making us stay home-bodies like part of the event. Hats off to Robin and Heather for tacking on another super ORCA National.

Wish: ORCA could provide complimentary private jet service for all us old coots who can't face the long drives. Would dearly love to attend every year and see old friends and talk with those who I have never met in person. Looks like a great meet Robin and Heather. Thanks for your good work.
Bad Bob
PS: Len, you don't need any more ego busting congrats, but...Congrats on a well done display!

Brian...you never would have left Paul Mortenson's tables
Here are some more shots to add to Richard's great posts:
If you see something you like in these shots, check with Bill Muth! maybe something didn't sell at the show!
