2014 San Diego, Day 3 - Lots of stuff!
A grab bag of photos from today, including one of Patti Carey, who caught this nice calico bass while she was on a boat trip this morning. Hey Dick Braun! What's that hat say?
IGFA historian Mike Farrior, left, and Ed Pritchard talking after Mike's excellent talk about the Santa Catalina Island Tuna Club's history as Mike's, Suzie, looks on:
Dennis Buranek, right, talking about Thompson reels after his presentation with, from left, Ronel Lewis, Gary Siemer, Paul Berinson and Dave Erickson:
Checking out reels tonight, as the show was being set up:
Lots of Pflueger Medalists and others for sale at this table:
Some of Ron Gast's great Kentucky reels for sale:
Only about half of the fine Talbot display Randy Johnson was setting up:
Long line for amazing fish tacos outdoors overlooking the bay at the Outboard Motorboat Club:
And the gang, chowing down:
Tomorrow? The show. Stay tuned.
Richard

Could only be there in spirit. Hope everyone has a really great time and a safe trip home. If I'm not mistaken the hat says Zebco. Hi Patti

Finally undisputed evidence, well maybe not completely irrefutable , that Professor Larson can catch something
Looks like a lot of fun and wish I was there!

Thanks for the nice photos of all the action. Something tells me the nice Talbot reel display (especially if this is only about half of the display) could only belong to Randy Anderson of Bartlesville OK.
PS Nice catch Dr. Todd!

Correct, Warren! That's half of Randy's excellent Talbot display at the show on Saturday.
Sorry you couldn't make it. San Diego was a blast.
