WANTED: hand made, folkart, primitive, homer, garage made REELS!

Post by JoeW »

I've made a few posts showing off my humble "hand-made reel" collection, but I didn't add that I am activley seeking more examples! Yea, call them what you want, I'm looking for "other than commercially made" reels. They can be crude or show a little class, older, newer. Looking particularly for those with "innovative" designs, parts, etc. but really anything might do! The more "rustic" the better. Email me, send a pic if you can. Can't spend a fortune, but set a price, maybe we can haggle! Thanks! Best--- Joe Walkowski (ORCA)

That's the start of a great collection! Tom Harwood of WA has a similar one he calls his collection of "orphans".

Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?
