Box has a few repairs. Everything working as it should on the reel.

Moved to FleaBay, both reels.

Dean - that looks like a Montague box and the reel looks like an original USN&T Climax reel.

My guess is Montague did not make their boxes.

Can we be sure that the maker of Montague boxes did not make similar boxes for others ?

Playing devil's advocate here ...as I do not know the answer.

The box below looks like a Montague box, the reel it was found with does not have a Montague foot ...and as far as I know Montague never made a nickel plated, single action, non-hard rubber reel.

Hence my confusion.
