Repairing small parts

Now there is another option for welding small reel parts. Many jewelers have a small laser for repairing jewelry. This may work when other methods will not. My wife volunteers at a local school and had a students glasses frame repaired using one.

It was $20 to repair the glasses. I have a German Silver oil cap that is split. I may take it down and have it repaired. It sounds like it works as well las an electron beam welder. Actually, they work almost the same way except the beam welding is done in a vacuum.
