Gayle Reel Restoration

Post by Bill Muth »

Recuperating from an accident earlier this week, had some time to work on this Gayle reel that I bought a couple months ago. The vinegar bath didn't do the trick, so I broke out the Simichrome and a couple old T-shirts. It's a labor of love.

Thanks guys, I had not broken out the Simichrome in a while. Dan Marini coached me out of polishing these reels several years ago, but this one needed it.
