OEM are a sleeve bearing.

Remove the entire mechanism from the arm. Remove the roller washer from the assembly. If the roller mechanism is froze up and the parts won't spin you will have to soak it in penetrating oil or vinegar to loosen the corrosion. All the remaining parts pop out of the front of the mechanism. Get a small socket in which the beveled taper fits the front of the roller without falling through. Put the nut back on the threads to protect them and tap the roller shaft out with something like a hammer, or screwdriver, handle that won't damage or break it. Everything, including the dust cover should pop out. If the bearing is stuck inside the roller use the large side of the roller shaft, with the nut started on the threads again, to tap the bearing out of the roller.

When you put it back together it works a little better to tap the dust cover back in place after the rest of the mechanism has been installed onto the arm, but you can tap it back in beforehand, too.

Probably as clear as mud but hopefully, since you have the reel in front of you, that helps.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)
