John A. Cozzone Fly Reel

Post by RonG »

This is the Cozzone fly reel from the KC Show. The camera flash really brings out the color in the marbleized Bakelite. According to Phil White's book, the Ogden St. address was the earliest and the reels were made between 1922 and 1924.

congrats, a real score

you know that dealloying will come off very nicely in a vinegar bath, and won't hurt the bakelite.
