Picked this up the Bay recently! someone stripped out the LW! It may have been done on purpose. For tournament casting! a common practice in earlier days. It would reduce weight and increase spool speed?
I was surprised when I pull off the face plate and found a factory mistake, another stamped makers mark up side down on the back side! Has a little more pitting then I expected? I need just a worm gear and the tail plate LW end cap? Have the rest of the parts!

That is VERY strange! I've seen like ghost images or very light stampings on the inside of faceplates before, but nothing like that.
