Special Nip-I-Diddee Edition Luhr Jensen Lure Signed by Phil
Just got this ( Even if he did spell my name wrong, everybody else does too) Phil Jensen is one of Luhr Jensen's sons and the last owner of Luhr Jensen Hood Rive, Or. before being sold to Rapala. Phil is an extraordinarily nice gentleman.

Phil's Father Luhr Jensen started the company in 1932 after he lost his job at the Lumber Mill. Had to have something to feed his family. Phil who is now 77 years old sold the company to Rapala about 5 years ago. (Jacob) Some of that stuff I sent you a year or so ago was Luhr Jensen.

The NW Region of the NFLCC held a regional meet in The Dalles, OR quite a few years ago, and we took a tour of the Luhr Jensen factory. It was quite interesting. Phil Jensen joined us at the meet and seemed to have a good time. In my collection I have a couple of their factory display pieces they used at trade shows
