I had a real opportunity today for "show and tell." I had a visit from my good friend and fellow collector Henry Caldwell from Bolton Landing, NY Over the years I have purchased a lot of reels from Henry and when he called last night that he was passing through Atlanta, GA and asked about stopping by I was excited. Henry has hosted two ORCA conventions at Bolton Landing, NY over the years and I am hoping he does another one in the future. It is always good to have someone want to see your collection. I also showed Henry the corporate location of ORCA - my reel room. He took some pictures and we had a great visit.
We ended up doing a trade on a nice little Pflueger fly reel.

glad you two got to meet up and trade stories! That's always a kick to get to show your stuff to someone who's only question isn't, "So, when you gonna sell all this stuff?"
