Jacob, thanks for the tour. Those were great rods, reels, etc, in outstanding displays. The local scenery was great also.

Amazing, Jacob! That must have been designed based on a dream you had! Wasn't that a Bogdan hiding behind that cascapedia? That surely must be someone's collection borrowed for display?

I like how the rods are attached to the wall with what looks like leather straps with brass rings. Are they custom made? Is there a company that sells them? I just use brads, sheet rock screws, tacks, whatever is in arms reach that I can drive into a wall! Nice post, Jacob!

The pictures are wonderful and the displays of those fine reels and rods are very well done. Where is this village and castle located? The next time I am in Europe I would want to visit.

I'm glad you liked the photos :D

Jon: thanks but my collection is far away from this, but I'm working on it and it is growing

John: Yes you are right, it is a Bogdan reel that is behind the Cascapedia reel.
The Whole collection belongs to a widow, her husband had this collection. The museum has been promised that it can keep this collection as long they want.

Scottorock: It is some kind of leather straps but they are secured, so that the rods not can be taken out.
I tried

Kingfisher: I'm asking me the same quiestion, where should I go next time, will be hard to beat this one, but I look forward to visit the IGFA in Ft. Lauderdale next year.

Ray: The museum is placed in the North of Italy, close to the border to Austria.
