Re-Purposed Reel Bags

Post by Jonathan P. Kring »

In Dec. I got these two nice (re-purposed) reel bags. Souvineers of my wifes two cataract surgeries. Free except for the $15,000 to 20,000 charges per eye. for the surgeries. (Thank God for insurance)

good for you - and your wife - and i hope her vision is good by now.

that surgery bill seems shocking steep - the price in norway at a private clinic is about 1/3, although all norwegian citizens will be charged just about zero if willing to queue for a little while.

Haven't had to pay anything yet but have seen bills from The surgery Center, the surgeon, anesthesiologist and I'd say it's pretty much ball park. It has helped. Not perfect. Thanks for the good wishes. Would severely cut into the budget of a reel collector. If she can clearly see my reels now, I am in trouble.

Dean Jon,

More importantly, what happens if she can see you more clearly now? :jester

Pardon my ignorance, but what are those cases re-purposed from?

Hmmm? Both my mom and my MIL had that procedure. I know they both had those goofy sunglasses laying around but I don't remember seeing any pouches.
I hope I never have occasion to get my own cases that way.
