Nice displays, Jacob! You should do an article for the Reel News and tell us about those Danish reels and their history! Did the the Danish makers go to school off reels from the States or vice versa? Are free spool and drag mechanisms similare to VH or ??

What's in the bottle of liquor? Part of the display or refreshment for the staff? :)

The bottles is one with whisky and one with rum.
We made last year 25 of each, with our DGK logo and numbered, so that the collectors could collect other stuff than reels, lures and books.

John, I have in my plans, that I have to write something about danish reels to ORCA,
but not sure which reel it should be.

Great photos, Jacob. I agree that an article about Danish reel evolution would be interesting. I will be waiting by the mailbox for it!
Richard

(I like that idea of a special issue liquor with the club logo on it. I'd support a special ORCA brew at the next national in Tennessee. A few cold bottles of "Ugly Reel" IPA would be nice, while sitting on the porch at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek....)

Jacob, the tuna fishing is really great. I wish I could see the photos up close.
Please write the article on Danish reels. We would love the know about them.
I finally got my pictures up. We go to Sandpoint Idaho to visit my sister on Monday. Fishing is included. I will send pictures.
