That is a tough one! How about taking a short video or soundtrack so we can hear the double-click?

Tough decision wasn't it Deke? The reel or a vacation home in Hawaii.

You have some fantastic keepers there yourself, Ron! Sorry to jump in but it seemed to fit well with the theme of your post! Fly reels are, indeed, fun!

Now that's a nice display of great classic fly reels. Is the Ben Hur unmarked? She's a beauty.

Ron,
The Ben Hur is only marked on the back plate with the maker (WmH Talbot - Nevada, MO USA and the serial # on the inner side plate rim at the reel foot. No A&F logo. Serial # is the lowest I've seen on a Ben Hur (at least on those that you can find info. about on line).

Nice reels!
It's threads like this that make me want to start collecting fly reels, even though I generally focus on saltwater/big game reels. Maybe that's why I picked up a Pflueger Hawkeye last week.

Great reel, Jim! Is that all turn from one piece of brass rather Than soldered together? Probably two halves soldered together?

That's a cool looking reel Jim. The pebble finish really adds to the look.
