Antique week at Bouckville

Post by spadej1 »

I went to the big antique show here in Bouckville, NY yesterday and picked up a few treats. I didn’t see much of anything special, except a Whiting-Hendrick fly reel in very poor shape and a Moscrop fly reel that was well out of my budget. Here is what I did manage to bring home:

They are all a bit dirty but in intact otherwise except the Pflueger Quad is missing a clicker button and probably a clicker. It’s got plenty of wear but for $10 I felt it was worth buying. They don’t come around often and usually fall outside of my budget.

Like the Pflueger "Quadruple"! A bit tough to find marked "Pflueger". That reel alone made it a successful trip. Ciao!

Thanks BB. Luckily I read my Pflueger Baitcasters book so I knew this was an oldie but goodie! It was a good day overall and I got a few good deals.

Sweet find! Nothing better than vintage tackle at an antiques show.
