Charlie, if it's from Dad, it would certainly be worth keeping...it's not a high dollar reel, at least on this side of the pond. Lots of neat UK brass reels show up but no one seems to get very excited about them. I have about a half dozen that I have kept just because they were nice and were not going to bring anything at sale.
If you decide to keep it and would like to get that foot fixed and reel cleaned up, PM or email me and I would be happy to lend a hand.
