Pliny Catucci Didn't Do Bad, Himself.

Post by Reel Geezer »

Pliny Catucci started making reels on his own after the Meisselbach's sold their company. These were called Meisselbach-Catucci reels, and were made in a different factory and my a different company than A. F. Meisselbach & Bro.

These Symploparts were from the initial production of this company, c1922.

Catucci also manufactured these beautiful Symploreel fly reels with agate line guides.

Now class, repeat after me..."Meisselbach-Catucci reels are not Meisselbach reels - they are two different companies"
