Just curious, when I type short lines of copy the board lengthens them.
Why does this happen ?
Long lines ?

Jack: I don't believe that the board lengthens anything. The long lines occur when a URL is posted, such as one of an eBay auction. The URL is printed on one line, which usually forces me to scroll to read the message. From that point on, all messages are loaded the same length as the one that expanded the width. If you post a message after the window has expanded, your message will expand also.

for a long url, paste it, highlight it, then click on URL above.
Then, replace the first close bracket in the link argument: ] with an =
so now it starts with then go to the end of your url put that close bracket in right in front of the
so you end up with this: ...]
then, between the two brackets, ...]type a name for your link
that way, you end up with small links printed on the thread, instead of pushing the thread margin way out to the end of the long link.
