Seatrout fishing

Post by Jacob : salmonfisher03 »

Was out fishing for seatrout today.
Water was very cold and there was a cold wind blowing.

Lost 3 seatrouts. I think there is something wrong with my tackle.
Have told my wife that I need something new, so that I don't loose the fish 8)

I was out today again.
Hard conditions - the wind was blowing from south and was cold.

Same reel like yesterday but another rod today. Still no luck.
Maybe I should try to change the reel with a Bogdan  good idea John.

I'll be back next sunday - hopefully with more luck

Jacob,

Maybe you need a better "guide" dog, he isn't even looking the right way! Ha.

Seatrout fishing

Hello Jacob:

That is a beautiful area for sure. Our daughter lives in a small town near the Baltic north of Lubeck in northern Germany. And when visiting with her family at this time of the year, the weather was just as you have noted. In three months things should warm up a bit!

And as for telling your wife that you may need new fishing gear, be very careful what you wish for. If your wife is anything like my dear lady, you may find yourself swimming in the Ostsee, with or without any new gear!

And your fishing friend looks great, and will be your faithful companion even when the trout are not biting. Take care Jacob.

Jim,

I only live 2 hours from Lübeck away.
So next time when you are in Lübeck, give me a note and I will take you out for
some great fishing.

Jacob:

Thank you kindly. It may not be for some time, however when I am again in Schleswig-Holstein, I may just contact you. Denmark is just up the road from Erin's house.

And your canine companion may be young, but he (or she) looks more than interested, and with some time and effort, will surely be your faithful fishing friend for life.

Best wishes to you...

Jim
