Death by Smallmouth

Post by Reel Geezer »

Since you posted "you're killing me", Colby, I thought I might as well finish you off.
Yesterday was a pretty good day...

This fish was 19" and a real bruiser. When I set the hook I felt the jolt and the fish hardly moved. I had an 18" shortly after landing this one and ended with 7 fish in a couple of hours before a cold rain drove me off the river. I'm not sure how much longer our mild weather can last, but I'm loving it.

Phil,
Yep, that did it. I hope you get several more days with those. Got to make that trip out west. Very nice fish. Thanks for posting. Colby
