Salmonfishing in Norway - with family
Just returned back from another fishing trip.
Again we fished the river Gaula in Norway - I would nearly say it is my second home.
This time with lot of rain and a very high river
View from were we live
Rods are ready, just need to drive 5 minuttes to reach our beat.
Rain and dark clouds most of the time.
Jonas (my son) fishing, still in good mood, even if we had rain the whole day.
Tania (my wife) and Jonas preparing the dinner on a fire
Would like to know what they are thinking about - maybe why the salmon don't bite
The 3 generations - hopefully we can make these generation pictures for many years.
And finally FISH ON!! Again I had to show them how to catch a salmon
The only salmon that we caught this time. The salmon took a small tubefly.
Best

Tremendous. Jonas looks like a chip off the GrandPa.

Still great pictures despite only one fish. Did the Bogdan reel see action?

Nobody "brings it home" like you do, Jacob. Thanks once again for making me feel good.

Sausage shore lunch, no fish!! Come on Bogdan, don't let me down.

I have been waiting for your trip! Your time together is worth it alone. It was obviously more challenging than usual. Was it the weather? Murky water? Or they just knew you were coming!!
Re: Salmonfishing in Norway - with family
Great pics. How about some pics of the lures and bait and terminal tackle.

Very nice, Jacob. Those photos make the world seem like a smaller place. I particularly like the campfire photo along the water because that's the way we do it here, too, in West by God Virginia.

There is nothing like a campfire close to the water. Stressless and relaxing - only sound is the river
Yes Betty the condition was hard this time, we had high water most of the week, so not easy to find the salmon.
But hopefully it will be better next year
Next trip is planned and will be in Sweden in september.
Now a look into the secret lure box
that is the lures they use for salmon
And the most secret box of them all, have a look into my flybox
alot of tube flies for atlantic salmon
Best
